Expert Review on Tata Tigor EV

- Well-Loaded On Features
- Great City Car With Little To Fault
Cons
- Real-World Range Under 200 Km

- Loses Breath After 100 Kmph
The Tigor EV is now a much-improved car with its longer range, better warranty and all the tech it offers. Low running cost is the trump card of cars like the Tigor EV. In times of rising fuel prices, cars like these make a lot of sense. Depending on how much you drive you can break even in a couple of years. And of course, you're playing your part in burning lesser fossil fuels and keeping our planet greener for much longer.
Tata Motors is the manufacturer of an electric vehicle known as the Tata Tigor EV. It was first introduced to the Indian market in January of 2017. The vehicle has a maximum speed of 135 kilometres per hour and a range of 212 kilometres on a single charge. There are two distinct variations of it available: the Standard variation and the Long-Range variation.
The Tata Tigor EV is a compact sedan that was developed with the Indian market in mind as the primary user base. The inside and exterior of the vehicle both have a highly contemporary look and feel, and the overall design is quite comparable to that of the Tata Tiago. However, the Tigor EV may be distinguished from its sister by several nuances that have been included in its design. For example, the Tigor EV has a grille that is a little bit different, and the headlamps also have a different form. In addition to this, the automobile boasts distinctive alloy wheels, which make it stand out from the crowd.
The Tata Tigor electric vehicle has a solid performance overall. It has a range of around 110 kilometres when fully charged, which is more than sufficient for the majority of people's journeys each day. Even though it takes approximately 5 to 6 hours to fully charge the battery, it is still doable despite the fact that it is not the quickest car to charge up.
Even on extended drives, the car drives smoothly and provides a comfortable ride for the driver. When travelling at high speeds, the sole drawback is that the inside can get rather loud. This is especially noticeable when changing lanes. Aside from that, the Tata Tigor EV is an excellent choice for individuals who are searching for an electric vehicle that will not blow their budget.
The Tata Tigor EV has a decent driving range for an electric vehicle. On a single charge, it has the potential to go for up to 213 kilometres. The firm has also made the announcement that it will soon be releasing a fast charger, which will contribute to the reduction of the amount of time required for charging.
When it comes to electric vehicles, the driving experience can vary greatly depending on the model. However, we can say that driving the Tata Tigor EV is a very smooth and enjoyable experience. The car is extremely quiet, so you won't hear any engine noise while you're driving. Additionally, the acceleration is instant and linear, so you won't feel any jerks or jolts as you're accelerating. We think that anyone would enjoy driving this car, whether they're used to driving gasoline-powered cars or not.
The cabin of the Tata Tigor EV is roomy and thoughtfully designed, and it comes equipped with a wealth of features that improve both comfort and convenience. It is clear that the car was developed with the requirements of the Indian buyer in mind because of the way it looks. Every passenger has sufficient space for their legs and heads, and the seats themselves are extremely comfortable. The cabin has enough of natural light and is airy, both of which contribute to the positive experience of being within. In addition to that, there is a generous quantity of storage space, which is provided in the form of cubbyholes and pockets. The cabin of the Tata Tigor EV is, all things considered, a really nice and comfortable environment to be in.
The Tata Tigor EV comes with a host of advanced tech and infotainment features that make it a great choice for those looking for a sophisticated and feature-rich EV.
The 7-inch touchscreen display is one of the highlights of the Tigor EV, allowing drivers to easily access a range of functions and information. The system is also compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, so you can stay connected on the go.
Other notable tech features include an 8-speaker audio system, front and rear parking sensors, and a rear-view camera. For infotainment, there's an FM radio, Bluetooth connectivity, and two USB ports.
The Tata Tigor EV is an electric car manufactured by Tata Motors. It was launched in India in 2017. The car has a range of up to 213 km on a single charge and a top speed of 85 km/h. It is powered by a 72 volt battery pack and has a 8-10 hour charging time. The Tigor EV is available in two variants - the Standard variant which has a 22.5 kWh battery pack and the Long-Range variant which has a 36-kWh battery pack.
The Standard variant of the Tata Tigor EV has an electric motor that produces 40 kW of power and 115 Nm of torque. The Long-Range variant has an electric motor that produces 70 kW of power and 210 Nm of torque. Both variants have a 2-speed automatic transmission.
Electric cars are becoming increasingly popular, and with that comes a need for safety information specific to them. Tata Motors, an Indian multinational automotive manufacturing company, recently released its first electric car, the Tigor EV. Here is some important safety information to keep in mind if you're driving or riding in one of these vehicles.
Tata Tigor EVs are equipped with several safety features, including seat belts for all passengers, child safety locks, and an anti-lock braking system (ABS). The car also has an emergency stop button that can be used to shut off the power in case of an accident or other emergency.
It's always important to be aware of your surroundings when driving, but it's even more crucial when behind the wheel of an electric car. Pay attention to the battery gauge and charger light so you know when the car needs to be plugged in. And be sure to keep an eye out for pedestrians, cyclists, and other vehicles when backing up or making turns.
Tata Motors offers a standard warranty of 3 years or 36,000 kilometers, whichever comes first, on the battery of the Tata Tigor EV. This can be extended to 5 years or 60,000 kilometers by paying an additional amount.
When it comes to electric cars, the Tata Tigor EV is one of the most popular options on the market. This vehicle offers a wide range of features and benefits that make it a great choice for those looking for an alternative to traditional petrol or diesel cars. There are actually quite a few electric cars that compete directly with the Tata Tigor EV. Some of the most popular options include the Nissan Leaf, the BMW i3, and the Tesla Model S.
The all-electric Tata Tigor EV has been quite a popular choice among EV buyers in India. It offers good driving range and performance at a very attractive price point. Tata Motors has also been quick to address any issues that have cropped up with the car. Overall, the Tata Tigor EV is a very good option in the Indian EV market.

I never thought that any car in EV segment can also be so affordable and it came through Indian company. I loved this car, and it's ownership also never disappointed too. It's good for going office to home for me and also great for weekend nearby shopping and visit. The only thing I need to think is about long tours, but if you plan stays and have hopping journey it is still good option.

Even I support Tata's vision. The idea should be quality and not quantity. Tata might be good at vehicle safety but technology-wise they are far behind other Indian brands. Last month (11 June 2022), I bought TATA TIGOR EV top model (XZ+) almost priced at Rs.15 lakh. From second day onwards the AC stopped functioning and twice the dealer picked up the car and they are unable to rectify the issue. The service centre claimed that they're getting regular complaints for the model. The technical guys from Tata motors tried solving the problem but all in vain. My car is laying for more than 20 days at TATA service center and here I am paying EMI for it without using the car and on the other hand TATA and top executives are acquiring properties at my cost. I mailed TATA motor OEM and even Mr. Ratan Tata but there was no response or remedy for the same. My humble request please launch after complete testing of the vehicle and not in a half baked condition. We bought the car just because of trust in TATA brand and Mr. Ratan Tata at face value. People who are still not convinced about my state, and still support the company; I am ready to sell my car at Rs.10k less than the current price it's just done 150 km and mostly driven by Tata people for testing purpose. I hope TATA people read this and I at least expect them to contact or reply. PS. Please buy 2-4 battery fans as an accessories to keep you cool.
